Frequently Asked Questions - Microblading
What are the benefits of Microblading?
- Reduces the amount of time it takes to get ready in the morning (no more filling in those BROWS).
- Gives those with skin diseases like alopecia or hair loss secondary to chemo a natural looking brow.
- Does not smudge or smear off, even with exercise for those with an active lifestyle.
- Virtually painless (topical anesthetic is provided)
- Lasts 18-24 months (varies due to clients’ skin types & lifestyle)
- It’s not permanent, but semi-permanent. It allows you to change the shape of the brow with new trends since it only lasts up to 24 months.
- It’s safe when performed by a professional and certified microblading artist.
- It is minimally invasive and has very little down time.
Is Microblading painful?
Microblading is relatively painless. You might feel a slight discomfort, however, we use a topical anesthetic prior and during your procedure. Pain tolerances vary person to person.
How many appointments are needed?
Microblading is a multi- step process and you shouldn’t expect to see full results after just one session. A touch up appointment should be scheduled four to six weeks post treatment to achieve your desired BROW. This appointment is included in your initial cost.
How long does the procedure take?
Your initial appointment will be schedule for 2.5 hours. This allows for your consultation, numbing time, mapping, design template and actual microblading. Your touch-up appointment will be scheduled for 1.5 hours, as this appointment takes less time overall.
What’s the biggest difference from the traditional tattoo?
Microblading is done without the use of a traditional machine. Hair strokes are imitated by manually depositing color pigment with a hand-held tool and creating natural brows by following natural growth patterns.
Can you correct previously tattooed and or microbladed brows?
We do offer correction services on previously tattooed and or microbladed eyebrows. The corrective options depends on how much pigment is still left in the skin and how much has faded. We generally like to see that approximately 50% of the original color has faded. We offer limited correction appointments. We schedule them on a case by case basis and a pre-appointment consultation is required.
Can you remove microbladed eyebrows?
Yes, we do offer Microblading removal services. The number of sessions needed to remove microbladed brows varies depending on how the client heals and how deep the initial microblading was to begin with. We offer limited removal appointments. We schedule them on a case by case basis and a pre-appointment consultation is required.
What is the process for removing microbladed brows?
Saline removal is a process of removing unwanted pigment or tones out from under the skin through various sessions so that we can safely lift out the pigment and allow proper healing so we can properly microblade your dream brows.

Do I need to buy any supplies for the aftercare?
There is NO need for you to purchase anything for your Aftercare. We will give you an Aftercare bag that has all of the supplies and instructions you need for the healing process of 4 weeks.
How should I prepare for my permanent make-up / microblading appointment?
Please come dressed comfortably, as your appointment may range from 2-3 hours. Please do not wear any foundation, heavy eye makeup, or lipstick to your appointment. We want to ensure that your face is clean and bacteria free to minimize any risk of infection. Arriving to your appointment with a full face of makeup only increases the length of your session, as the technician will need to remove make-up thoroughly.
If you are coming in for a Microblading appointment and would like your technician to see how you regularly apply your brow makeup, please feel free to do so. This will help your technician determine how you like to typically fill-in your brows.
